Writing Your Memoirs with poet and writer Dr. Donna Coffey Little,
Professor of English and Director of the MFA in Creative Writing
Have you always wanted to tell your story? Dr. Donna Coffey Little, publishing poet and the director of the new Etowah Valley MFA program at Reinhardt University, will read an excerpt from her memoir "Coming Home to Water" and will teach some strategies for getting your personal story on paper and in print. Bring pen and paper!
Please consider attending this first Reinhardt short lecture, it is the first of the monthly short lectures. It is free and you are welcome to stay and have dinner and/or socialize afterwards.
The short lectures will be in the Hightlands Grill Dining Room from 6pm to 7pm. There are no reservations for the lecture and it is open seating (just like a college class).
Then, if you wish, stay for dinner and continue discussion with other students and the professor about the lecture or just have an interesting conversation with a neighbor. Dinner buffet and social will be from 7pm to 8pm. If you plan to stay for dinner, please call the restaurant (770-721-7900 x 3) and give them your name and how many in your party.
